Restless Habitation

Your home should feel like you. Not a catalog, not a showroom, not a compromise.

Just you.
Jessamyne Campbell, Principal Designer est. Restless Habitation

Meet Jessamyne Campbell

Principal Designer
& Owner

Ten years in the industry — now entirely in your corner.

Jessamyne started in this industry because she genuinely loves it. After ten years working inside it, she knew there was a better way to do things — one that actually puts the client first. That belief is what led her to go out on her own and build Restless Habitation.

With a degree in Interior Design and Professional Services, she has spent a decade moving through nearly every corner of the design world. That experience gave her something you cannot learn anywhere else: a deep understanding of how furniture, materials, and space actually work together. She knows where things go wrong, how to catch costly mistakes before they happen, and how to advocate for her clients with contractors and vendors.

The result is a design experience that feels different. A focused client roster means every project gets real attention. Trade pricing gets passed directly to clients. And the finished home feels like the person living in it — not a catalog, not a showroom. Just you.

Services & Process

Here is how it works.

Two hundred design decisions in a kitchen alone. Furniture that looks perfect online but throws off the whole room. Restless Habitation exists to make sure none of it happens to you — ten years of experience, trade pricing passed straight to you, and a designer who stays from the first conversation to the final styled room.

Did you know there are over 200 design decisions in a kitchen renovation alone? From cabinet hardware to grout color to the exact height of your pendant lights, the details add up fast — and that's before a single contractor shows up. Renovating is one of the biggest investments you'll ever make, and it should feel exciting, not overwhelming.

Whether you're starting from a blank slate or finally tackling the project you've been putting off, Jessamyne comes in at the beginning and stays through the finish — working directly with your contractors and vendors, passing trade pricing straight to you, and making sure every decision moves your project forward instead of sideways.

Building from the ground up is one of the most exciting things you'll ever do. It's also one of the easiest ways to spend a lot of money on mistakes you'll live with for years — ordering too little tile, choosing the wrong material for how your family actually lives, letting the contractor hang your pendants six inches too high.

Jessamyne comes in at the start of your build, or as early as your architectural plans, and stays through the finish. She works directly with your builder as your advocate, making sure every decision is documented, communicated, and executed the way you actually intended. You focus on the excitement of building something new. She handles everything else.

Built right, the first time.

Maybe the kids finally left for college and you're staring at a sectional you bought in 2009. Maybe you just moved and it still doesn't feel like home. Whatever brought you here, this is the fun part — no construction, no contractors, no dust. Just your space, transformed into something that finally feels like you.

Furniture shopping on your own is harder than it looks. That sofa that seemed perfect online? Wrong scale. That fabric you loved in the store? Pilled after one season. Jessamyne has worked inside the industry at stores like Pottery Barn and knows selection inside and out — which pieces are worth the investment, which fabrics hold up to real life, and how to make a room feel intentional from every angle. One room or the whole home, the process flexes from eight weeks to a full year.

You found the perfect lake house. Or maybe you finally pulled the trigger on that second home you've been dreaming about for years. It's yours — and now it needs to feel like it. Jessamyne has worked with clients across the Pacific Northwest and beyond — from Black Rock in Coeur d'Alene, Sandpoint, and Liberty Lake to Missoula, Salt Lake City, and everywhere in between — and is available anywhere in the country.

The process works almost identically to her in-person services, with one important difference: it starts with an in-person site visit so measurements are precise and the vision is built on something real. From there, everything else — selections, mood boards, refinement, procurement, and logistics — is handled virtually and seamlessly.

The Process

What clients are saying

Kind wordsfrom real homes.

After our house fire, we were completely overwhelmed by the decisions we needed to make to rebuild. Hiring Jess was, without a doubt, the best choice we made. She guided us through each step — paint, fixtures, tile, finishes, furniture, and decor — genuinely listened, and pushed us out of our comfort zone when we needed it, yet was flexible and respectful when choices didn't fit our style or budget. We can't recommend her highly enough.

— North Spokane Client

We wanted help transitioning our home from super kid-oriented to more refined and grown up. Jess was great at figuring out items appropriate for our style, price point, and lifestyle. She has several internet-based systems and apps that made choosing items and colors super easy. We will definitely use her again!

— South Hill Client

We moved into our new home and had lots of shelves and areas to style. We literally opened boxes and placed everything out on a floor cloth — and Jessamyne styled all the shelving in our Great Room from my collectibles.

— Colville Client

Jessamyne was really great when we were building our home. I knew what I liked but had a tough time envisioning how to put it all together. With her, choosing fixtures and furniture was fun — she pushed us in just the right way and honored our choices. I love my home; it's just the right version of us.
